Program Overview

Miracles Happen is a long-term residential program (12 months minimum) designed for men who desire to learn how to live without the use of alcohol or other drugs through education and working twelve-step programs with sponsors. Our focus is to help residents build self-esteem, hope for the future, and the ability to use the principles that are learned through the recovery process.

Expectations

At Miracles Happen residents will attend a meeting of some type every day. Usually, this will include 1 or 2 off-site meetings and 5 or 6 on-site, including the Sunday evening house meeting. This schedule may change without notice. There will be weekly random drug screens along with immediate screening for any man suspected of using substances. Transportation is not provided except in case of emergency. Daily chores will be assigned and instructions provided as needed.

Resident Resources

This is a safe, clean, organized, respectful, and loving environment that is specifically structured for men seeking recovery from active addiction. We will assist our residents to further their recovery by connecting them with community resources such as GED educational classes, vocational rehabilitation, mental health counseling, twelve-step meetings, and area churches.
